Minor League Baseball Spring Classic

The Spring Classic is a mid-season tournament for Wilshire-Riverside Little League minor league baseball teams. Hosted by Wilshire-Riverside Little League, it includes teams from the Hollywood Little League. It typically takes place in early May.

Tournament of Champions

The Tournament of Champions (TOC) has been a tradition in the past few years. It immediately follows the regular season for baseball and softball at the Minors, Majors and Juniors divisions. Tournament hosts, locations, and dates to be determined.

Last year, Wilshire-Riverside swept the TOC. Cascade 205 PT beat Penninsula 12 to 11 in 15 innings to take the Majors crown. Fisherman's Marine and Outdoor defeated Rose City 5-4 in 7 innings for the Minors crown.

District Tournament

This is a tournament that follows the post-season, usually beginning in late June, or early July, for baseball & softball in separate tournament brackets for these age divisions: 9-10, 10-11, 11-12 (Little League), and 13-14 (Juniors). Wilshire-Riverwside will be forming teams and your coaches will get information to their players and families regarding eligibility requirements.

Road to the Little League World Series

For players in the official Little League (11-12) or Juniors age (13-14) division winning the District tournament is the first stop on the road to the Little League World Series. The winner of District goes to State, winner of State competes in the Western Regional finals, and the winner of the baseball Western Region goes to Williamsport, PA in mid-August for Baseball. Winner of the softball Western Region goes to Alpenrose Dairy, Portland, Oregon to play in the Softball World Series.
